¿Hablamos sobre el color del género? Estudio sobre los estereotipos de género

Abstract

RESUMEN: Los estereotipos de género han sido un tema de debate a lo largo de la historia y hoy en día, siguen teniendo una gran presencia en la sociedad actual, por ello, queremos investigar el grado de presencia que tienen los estereotipos de género en los más pequeños. Para ello hemos elegido a 5 niñas y 5 niños de Educación Infantil, del colegio María Reina Inmaculada de Santander. Hemos decidido guiarnos por una metodología cualitativa, realizando entrevistas que en este caso serán flexibles, puesto que se deja expresarse libremente al entrevistado; y que van dirigidas a 5 niñas y 5 niños. Para llevar a cabo la investigación, hemos seleccionado una muestra no probabilística, ya que los participantes han sido elegidos conscientemente. Finalmente, los resultados obtenidos han sido que los estereotipos de género siguen presentes en la sociedad actual, y que la influencia de estos es igual en niños que en niñas.

ABSTRACT: Gender stereotypes have been a topic of discuss throughout history of today, it still has a large presence in today's society, therefore, we want to investigate the degree of presence that gender stereotypes have in kids, so we have chosen 5 girls and 5 boys from early childhood education from María Reina Inmaculada school in Santander We have decided to guide ourselves through a qualitative methodology, by doing interviews which will be flexible, since it allow to express themselves freely to the interviewer. These interviews have been designed to 5 girls and 5 boys. To carry out the research, we have selected a non-probabilistic sample, since participants have been chosen consciously. Finally, the results show that gender stereotypes are still present in today's society, and the influence of these is the same in boys than girls.
