EL surf en el ámbito educativo: revisión bibliográfica

Abstract

RESUMEN: El propósito de este trabajo es realizar una revisión bibliográfica respecto a la inclusión del surf en el ámbito educativo. Para ello, se realizó una búsqueda de los términos “surf” y “education” en las bases de datos SCOPUS y Dialnet, hasta el año 2016. Se obtuvieron un total de 157 resultados, 127 publicados en Scopus y 30 en Dialnet. De esa cantidad, se incluyeron únicamente 3 documentos, quedando, por tanto, 154 resultados excluidos. Dichos documentos ofrecieron ideas para poder planificar un acercamiento del surf a los centros, teniendo en cuenta diferentes aspectos como el uso de la metodología de aprendizaje mediante el descubrimiento guiado, el desarrollo en unas 8 sesiones, la necesidad de saber nadar previamente a la actividad y el acercamiento progresivo al medio acuático (centro educativo, piscina y mar) para mejorar el desarrollo de los alumnos frente al Surf. El estudio concluye con unas directrices básicas para el diseño de una propuesta didáctica enfocada al Surf de forma eficiente y segura para llevar a cabo dentro de los centros escolares. La propuesta se desarrolla en un total de 8 sesiones, donde se tienen en cuenta diferentes escenarios de trabajo, y se utiliza el descubrimiento guiado como metodología básica de aprendizaje.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this project is to carry out a bibliographic review regarding the inclusion of surf within the educational field. So a research was made with the terms “Surf” and “Education” on Scopus and Dialnet databases until 2016. After performing a search of both terms with the English conjunction “AND”, we get a total of 157 results with which to work on a bibliometric study, belonging 127 of the Scopus and 30 of Dialnet database. Being aware of these results, 3 of them were studied and used in these pages, however, 154 of them haven’t been chosen. The 3 documents were analyzed, so the main ideas can be used to plan an approximation to surf as an activity to use at schools, always being conscious of the different aspects that can take place during the lesson, for example the learning methodology through the guidance during the learning process, the development of the lesson plan during 8 lessons, the necessity of a previous learning of water sports, like swimming, and the use of the different spaces were the activity can take place to increase and improve the children’s development. The study concludes with the basic guidelines to design a lesson plan focused on surf as an efficiently and safely practice to use in schools. The lesson plan is formed by 8 lessons. All of those lessons show the different areas to work in the surf as a topic and use the guided development as the basic learning methodology.
