RESUMEN: El Emprendimiento Social es un concepto que aún no cuenta con una clara definición, pero a pesar de esto está experimentando un crecimiento exponencial a lo largo de todo el mundo. Gracias a los emprendedores sociales, podemos obtener soluciones para aquellos problemas sociales en los que se ve envuelta nuestra sociedad, es decir, el emprendimiento social colabora para intentar cambiar el mundo y hacer de nuestro planeta un lugar mejor en el que vivir.
El objetivo de este trabajo, es dar a conocer lo que es el emprendimiento social, intentando explicarlo de la manera más correcta y más profunda, esto quiere decir que no solo vamos a hablar del concepto en concreto, si no también se definen las diferentes partes que lo componen, por ejemplo que es un emprendedor y que es una empresa social.
Por otra parte, se pretende hacer una pequeña visión de cuáles son las diferentes formas de apoyar este movimiento en Europa, más concretamente dentro de España y Reino Unido. La elección de estas dos muestras se debe a que España se considera unos de los países menos involucrados dentro del Emprendimiento Social y por su parte el Reino Unido se considera pionero en ello. Veremos una serie de Asociaciones que intentan buscar la manera de resolver los problemas sociales, Universidades que ofrecen cursos sobre esta materia y además varios libros que intentan inculcar la cultura del Emprendimiento Social, todo ello de ambos países.
ABSTRACT: Social Entrepreneurship is a concept that does not yet have a clear definition, but despite this it is experiencing an exponential growth throughout the world. Thanks to the social entrepreneurs, we may obtain solutions to those social problems in which is involved our society, that is to say, the social entrepreneurship working together to try to change the world and make our planet a better place in which to live.
The aim of this work, is to know what really is social entrepreneurship, trying to explain the way more correct and more profound, this means that not only we're going to talk about the concept in concrete, if not also define the different parts that compose it, for example who is an entrepreneur and that is a social enterprise.
On the other hand, is intended to make a small vision of what are the different ways you can support this movement in Europe, specifically in Spain and the United Kingdom. The choice of these two samples is that Spain is considered one of the countries least involved in the Social Entrepreneurship and for its part, the Uk is considered a pioneer in this. We will see a number of Associations that are trying to find a way to solve social problems, Universities that offer courses on this subject and in addition to several books that attempt to instill the culture of Social Entrepreneurship, all of both countries.
