Análisis económico-financiero del sector del automóvil y Grupo Volkswagen en España del 2010 al 2016

Abstract

RESUMEN: La máquina de vapor, el Big Bang de la automoción moderna. Sin este invento de 1969 no se habría podido desarrollar ningún medio de transporte. El objetivo de este TFG es conocer cómo se encuentra la situación del sector del automóvil en España en la actualidad y ver cómo se está produciendo un cambio en la estrategia del negocio en la que se va a pasar de fabricar y vender vehículos con motor de gasolina o diésel a otros más eficientes y ecológicos. En Madrid, por ejemplo, se prohibirá la circulación de coches antiguos cuando éstos superan ciertos niveles de contaminación. Este cambio es necesario porque, además de ir destruyendo paulatinamente el planeta, perderemos competitividad en todos los niveles y es algo perjudicial. El gobierno debe tomar medidas (como el Plan MOVALT) para incentivar este tipo de adquisiciones para así ir desarrollando y expandiendo esta idea. Para ello se dividirá el proyecto en dos partes: La primera parte tratará de explicar el número de fábricas que están instaladas en nuestro país y en qué zonas se localizan, los niveles de producción para los años 2016 y 2017, las exportaciones realizadas y cuál es la aportación de este sector a nuestra economía. También se analizarán las ventas de vehículos nuevos a nivel de España para así poder compararlas con los países más potenciales de la Unión Europea como son Reino Unido, Italia, Francia y Alemania. Por último se comentará cuáles serán las tendencias futuras del automóvil, tomadas en parte por las decisiones desacertadas del Grupo Volkswagen de alterar las emisiones de gases perjudiciales. Para la siguiente parte me hubiera gustado analizar una empresa que fabricara coches alternativos al petróleo como Tesla, una empresa que será muy importante, pero al no disponer de la información necesaria me he querido centrar en una compañía concreta. La segunda parte trata de analizar económica y financieramente los resultados del sector desde el año 2010 hasta el 2016 para ver cómo ha evolucionado desde un periodo inmerso en la crisis económica hasta otro en la que ya está más recuperado, así como las cuentas del Grupo Volkswagen desde el año 2013 hasta el 2016 para compararlo con el sector y comprobar si el “Dieselgate” les ha afectado.

ABSTRACT: The steam engine, the Big Bang of the automotive modern. Without this invention of 1969 it would not have been possible to develop any means of transport. The objective of this TFG is to know how is the situation of the automobile sector in Spain at present and see how is changing the strategy of the business, which it is going to make and sell vehicles with gasoline or diesel motor engine to others which are more efficient and ecological. In Madrid, for example, the circulation of old cars will be prohibited when certain pollution levels are surpassed. This change is necessary because, beyond being destroying the planet gradually, we will lose competitiveness in all the levels and it’s damaging. The government must take measures (like MOVALT Plan) to stimulate this type of acquisitions to develop and expand this idea. In two parts will be divided this project: In the first part I will try to explain the number of industries that they are installed in our country and in what zones are located, the levels of production for years 2016 and 2017, realised exports and which are the contribution of this sector to our economy. Also, the sales of new vehicles concerning Spain will be analysed to compare them with the most potential countries of the European Union as they are the United Kingdom, Italy, France and Germany. Finally, I will comment which will be the future tendencies of the automobile, partly taken by the unfortunate decisions from the Volkswagen Group to alter the detrimental gas discharges. For the following part I would have liked to analyse a company that made alternative cars to oil like Tesla, a company that will be very important, but I am not having the necessary information I have been wanted to centre in a concrete company. The second part tries to analyse the economic and financial results of the sector from the year 2010 to the 2016 to know how it has evolved from a period immersed in the economic crisis to another in which it is already more recovered, as well as the accounts of the group Volkswagen from the year 2013 to 2016 to compare it with the sector and see if the "Dieselgate" has affected them.
