Aplicación del lean management en el proceso de almacén de tubería de Astander

Abstract

La idea del proyecto surge a petición de la empresa Astilleros de Santander S.A.U. (Astander), dedicada a la construcción, transformación y reparación de buques. La empresa presentaba un problema de no coincidencia de inventario real con el del sistema informático de tubería. El objetivo del trabajo es el análisis y propuesta de mejoras del proceso de almacén de tubería de la empresa Astander. Para alcanzarlo se utilizará la filosofía Lean Management, así como también algunas herramientas que ofrece. Con la realización del presente trabajo se han detectado una serie de problemas y áreas susceptibles de mejora y se han propuesto diversas alternativas que, de implementarse, supondría una evidente mejora del proceso.

The idea of the project arises at the request of the company Astilleros de Santander U.A.S. (Astander), a shipyard dedicated to the construction, transformation and repair of ships. The company had a problem of not matching actual inventory with that of the pipeline computer system. The objective of the present work is the analysis and proposal of improvements of the pipe storage process of the company Astander. To achieve this, the Lean Management philosophy will be used, together with some of the tools it offers. With the realization of the present work a series of problems and areas susceptible of improvement have been identified and several alternatives have been proposed that, if they were implemented, would imply an evident improvement of the process.
