Propaganda en el cine del primer franquismo

Abstract

RESUMEN Durante la Guerra Civil y la posterior implantación de la dictadura franquista, se dio en España un auge de la propaganda política, tan importante a la hora de legitimar y perpetuar al nuevo régimen. Uno de los medios en los que operó con más fuerza la propaganda fue el cine, lo que desembocó en la configuración de una industria cinematográfica firmemente controlada por el Estado, y en la realización de una serie de películas de profunda carga ideológica. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el contenido de las principales películas de la primera fase del franquismo para entender cómo y en qué medida fue utilizado el cine como arma propagandística.

ABSTRACT During the Civil War and the subsequent establishment of the Franco dictatorship, there was a peak of the political propaganda in Spain, so important in legitimizing and perpetuating the new regime. One of the media in which the propaganda acted witch more force was the cinema, which led to the configuration of a film industry firmly controlled by the State, and in the realization of a series of films with a deep ideological charge.
