Tras la fachada: prácticas en el MAS

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo es una atípica memoria de prácticas. Con el fin de demostrar todo lo que he aprendido, tanto a lo largo de mis estudios como trabajando en el MAS | Museo de Arte Moderno y Contemporáneo de Santander y Cantabria, este documento ofrece una visión comparativa y analítica entre el MAS y otras instituciones. Podemos ver desde su origen hasta la actualidad toda su evolución y su papel cultural. Una parte del escrito está dedicada a las labores que he desempeñado en el MAS, al igual que también hago alusión a otras que me habría gustado haber hecho. Al final se pueden encontrar unas propuestas de mejora para el MAS basadas en el efecto que está produciendo el Centro Botín y el ejemplo que se puede tomar del Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao

ABSTRACT: This paperwork is an atypical Internship Diary. With the aim of demonstrating my learning outcomes, from both my studies and from working at the MAS | Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Santander and Cantabria, this paper offers a comparison and analysis between the MAS and other institutions. Their full evolution and cultural role can be observed from the beginning to the present day. A part of this writing is committed to my tasks at the MAS as well as other tasks which I would have liked to have done. In the final part, I outline recommendations for improvement for the MAS based on the Botín Centre effect and the example that can be taken from the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum.
