Las plaquetas decoradas del Abrigo de La Viña

Abstract

RESUMEN: El estudio del arte mueble paleolítico es una de las fuentes de información más importantes de las que disponemos a día de hoy para estudiar la vida y costumbres de las sociedades prehistóricas. En este estudio, no centraremos en las plaquetas decoradas de los niveles Auriñacienses, Gravetienses y Solutrenses del abrigo de La Viña (Asturias), para estudiar el arte de los primeros grupos humanos de la región cantábrica, que son los peor conocidos debido a la falta de evidencias en comparación con los horizontes más modernos.

ABSTRACT: To this day, Paleolithic mobile art is one of the main sources of information that we have in order to study the habits and behaviour of the prehistoric societies. In the present paper, we will work with the decorated plaquettes from the Aurignacian, Gravettian and Solutrean levels of La Viña rock shelter (Asturias). Its study will give us some important information about the art of the first human groups from the cantabrian region, who are probably the worst known ones due to the lack of evidences comparing to Magdalenian levels.
