Servicios para universitarios en una biblioteca pública

Abstract

RESUMEN: A lo largo de este trabajo se ofrecerá al lector en primera instancia un camino por la evolución y la historia de las bibliotecas, tratando los cambios que se van sucediendo en estos centros documentales provocando la aparición de diversos tipos de bibliotecas como de las funciones que estas tienen en cada época. Para posteriormente desarrollar un esquema de creación de biblioteca pública con los elementos más relevantes en dicho proceso aplicándolos a un modelo de biblioteca pública centrado en los universitarios, destacando de estos elementos los servicios como una parte de vital importancia, puesto que en la tercera parte se tratará de analizar el vínculo que tienen los universitarios con las bibliotecas públicas, cual es el uso que le dan y qué servicios les servirían más allá del uso de la instalación en épocas de exámenes o momentos puntuales en su carrera o estudios de postgrado.

ABSTRACT: Throughout this work the reader will be offered in the first intance a path through the evolution and history of libraries, dealing with the changes that are taking place in these documentary centers, causing the appearance of various types of libraries as well as the functions they have in each time. To subsequently develop a public library creation scheme with the most relevant elements in this process, applying them to a public library model focused on university students, high lighting these services as a vitally important part, since in the third part they will try to analyze the link that university students have with public libraries, what use they give and what use they give and what services would serve them beyond the use of the facility during exam periods or specific moments in their career or postgraduate studies.
