Impacto sobre la eficiencia de distintos factores que componen el sistema portuario español durante el periodo 2000-2013

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este documento analizaremos el efecto que tienen determinados componentes que forman el sistema portuario español (hemos escogido los trabajadores, los metros cuadrados de puerto, los metros de superficie y por último los consumos intermedios), sobre la eficiencia durante el periodo comprendido durante los años desde el 2000 hasta el 2013. Durante el mismo, haremos alusión a ciertos puntos del marco institucional con el fin de conocer las fechas claves que tuvo nuestro sistema portuario, así como, las constantes reformas legislativas que tuvieron sobre en épocas recientes. Posteriormente analizaremos la extracción de los datos obtenidos de nuestras variables, las cuales han sido escogidas a priori, por el impacto que creíamos que poseerían sin analizarlas, observaremos que algunas de las variables no tienes fácil obtención por lo que nos decantaremos por unas variables similares y que intente representar lo mismo de aquellas de las q no han sido posible obtener información. Tras la obtención y análisis de los datos, el documento continuara con el apartado de la metodología, donde, tras varios años de carrera universitaria, nos hemos familiarizado con un programa econométrico el cual hemos escogido para la elaboración de nuestros estudio, este programa recibe el nombre de Gretel, con él analizaremos el efecto que provoca sobre la variable dependiente (en nuestro caso será la eficiencia), cambios de las variables independientes, obteniendo consigo la función resultante, además, nos permitirá examinar la elasticidad de cada una de las variables. Realizaremos un pequeño resumen sobre las variables proxy debido a que nuestra variable dependiente carece de datos como tal y deberemos encontrar otra variable similar, la variable que hemos introducido como tal, es el tráfico de mercancías de las distintas autoridades portuarias que componen el sistema portuario español. Una vez obtengamos el resultado del análisis, estudiaremos los resultados obtenidos de los cuales podremos obtener una serie de conclusiones. Con anterioridad a las conclusiones, haremos referencia a un tipo de índice de concentración de mercancías y estudiaremos detenidamente varios casos del sistema portuario español. Dicho índice nos informa sobre la capacidad de almacenamiento de cada área portuaria lo que, actualmente, provoca importantes ventajas comparativas de unos puertos con respecto de otros.
