Documentación inédita de Sancho IV (1284-1295) en el Archivo Histórico de la Nobleza (Toledo)

Abstract

RESUMEN: El conjunto de documentos de Sancho IV de Castilla (1284-1295) fue editado en los años veinte del siglo pasado por Mercedes Gaibrois. Sin embargo, la autora trabajó básicamente con la documentación custodiada en el Archivo Histórico Nacional, quedando mayoritariamente fuera de su publicación la que hoy en día se encuentra en el Archivo Histórico de la Nobleza de Toledo. Este TFM se centra en toda aquella documentación de este archivo que Mercedes Gaibrois no incluyó en su trabajo y que se encuentra inédita. Teniendo en cuenta la normativa y la extensión máxima que ésta establece para los TFM, se procederá a una transcripción y un estudio de cuantos documentos puedan ajustarse a dicha extensión, siempre sin rebasar la misma y ajustándose a unos criterios lógicos de selección que se argumentarán convenientemente. El objetivo de este TFM es, pues, contribuir a completar la colección documental de este monarca a fin de poder llegar a un mejor conocimiento del mismo y de la importancia de su reinado para la historia de España.

ABSTRACT: The set of documents of Sancho IV of Castile (1284-1295) was published in the 20s of the last century by Mercedes Gaibrois. However, this author worked solely with the documentation guarded in the Archivo Histórico Nacional, being mostly out of its publication the one which is nowadays located in the Archivo Histórico de la Nobleza de Toledo (Spain).

This Master's thesis is focused on all that documentation of this archive that Mercedes Gaibrois did not include in her work and which is unpublished. Taking into account the regulations and the maximum extension that this establishes for the Master's Thesis, a transcription and a study will be carried out on how many documents can be adjusted to this extension, always without exceeding it and adjusting to logical selection criteria which will be conveniently argued. The aim of this Master's Thesis is, therefore, to contribute to completing to the documentary collection of this monarch in order to reach a better knowledge of it and the importance of his reign for the History of Spain.
