Chimeneas de Ladrillo de las Comarcas de la Bahía de Santander y del Besaya: Análisis y Propuesta de Gestión Cultural

Abstract

RESUMEN: Las chimeneas industriales de ladrillo son el símbolo y vestigio del proceso de industrialización. En el presente trabajo se pretende localizar todas las chimeneas industriales de las comarcas de la Bahía de Santander y del Besaya. Paralelamente, realizar un análisis y justificación por qué considerar a esta estructura como bien industrial así como saber sus características, tipologías y valores patrimoniales. Dando como resultado la creación de un catálogo, que permita su inventariado y estudio posterior con el fin de desarrollar diferentes iniciativas y proyectos de gestión cultural para su salvaguarda, protección, conservación y difusión.

ABSTRACT: The Brickwork Chimneys are the symbol of the industrialization process. In this work, it is pretend to locate all the brickwork chimneys of the regions of Bay of Santander and Besaya. . Additionally, the work analyzes and justifies not only the structure’s role as a true industrial asset but also its characteristics, typologies, and patrimonial values. As well know its characteristics, typologies and patrimonial values. Giving the result of the creation of a catalog, will serve as an inventory of existing chimneys, allowing for future study as well as the development different initiatives and projects for their protection, conservation, and cultural promotion. .
