El valor de los SIG en situaciones de emergencia: cálculo de rutas óptimas para las intervenciones del Servicio de Bomberos de Santander

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este Trabajo Fin de Grado tiene como finalidad principal la demostración de la utilidad de los Sistemas de Información Geográfica (SIG) como ayuda en la geoprevención para el municipio de Santander. En este caso se realiza un estudio aplicado, orientado al cálculo de las rutas óptimas de las intervenciones del Servicio de Extinción de Incendios, Salvamentos y Protección Civil (SEIS). La resolución de este objetivo se aborda a partir de un análisis previo de las intervenciones para la selección de tres simulacros y su cálculo de las rutas óptimas. Para poder disminuir el tiempo de intervención los SIG nos ayudan a modelizar, analizar y calcular las rutas de menor tráfico, menores obstáculos y mayor velocidad. Queda así demostrada la utilidad de estos sistemas que muestran resultados de interés tras el previo análisis de las intervenciones.

ABSTRACT: This Final Degree Project has as main purpose of demonstrating or proving of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) like assistance in geoprevention for the municipality of Santander. In this case, an applied study is carried out, oriented to the calculation of optimal routes of interventions of the Firefighting Service, Rescue and Civil Protection (SEIS). The resolution of this objective is based on a previous analysis of the interventions for the selection of three simulations and their calculation of the optimal routes. In order to reduce the intervention time, GIS helps us to model, analyze and calculate the routes with the lowest traffic, the least obstacles and the highest speed. The use of these systems showing results of interest after the previous analysis of the interventions is thus demonstrated
