Ampliación del puente sobre el río Pas de la A-67 (autovía Cantabria-Meseta)

Abstract

RESUMEN: Existe un problema de capacidad de la autovía A-67 en el tramo entre Santander – Torrelavega. Regularmente se producen atascos y accidentes que provocan retenciones importantes. Debido a esto se ha decidido aumentar la plataforma en un carril por sentido y por tanto aumentar las estructuras de paso en dicha autovía. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo la ampliación del puente sobre el rio Pas. Este puente se encuentra entre los términos municipales de Piélagos y Miengo, en una zona del rio afectada por las mareas del mar Cantábrico.

Este es un puente de vigas de tres vanos. Las vigas utilizadas en el puente serán vigas de hormigón pretensado. Los tableros de ambos sentidos son independientes por lo que se trabajará de uno en uno para evitar cortar el tráfico totalmente por las obras.

La solución adoptada consistirá en el siguiente proceso:

o Para construir la ampliación se realizara un aumento de las pilas del puente. La ampliación se realizara anclando una estructura metálica a la ya existente de hormigón armado. De esta forma se colocara una viga adicional que permitirá aumentar el ancho del tablero. Por lo tanto se consigue aumentar en un carril la plataforma del puente. Las pilas actuales son pilas-pilote empotradas en roca caliza.

o La cimentación de los estribos se hará mediante estribos independientes de los actuales. Serán estribos pilotados en roca caliza para evitar asientos diferenciales con los estribos actuales. Los estribos tienen una sola aleta lateral ya que se encuentran situados contra los actuales.

El presupuesto base de licitación es de 891.881,15 €. Este gasto supondrá un enorme beneficio social en la población. Además, dadas las dimensiones de la obra se considera que el proyecto es rentable con ese coste.

ABSTRACT: Nowadays there is a capacity problem on the A–67 highway in the section between Santander and Torrelavega. Habitually traffic jams and accidents are formed which cause several holdups. Because of that it has been decide to increase the platform in one lane and therefore increase the structures of passage in the mentioned highway. This project has the objective of extended the bridge over the Pas River. This bridge is located between the local councils of Miengo and Pielagos, in a section of the river that is not affected by the tides of the Cantabrian Sea.

This bridge is a beams bridge with three spans. The beams of the bridge will be of prestressed concrete. The two side platforms are independent from each other and because of that the works will be one by one so we can prevent to cut-off the traffic.

The chosen solution will consist in the following process:

o To build the extension it will be make an increase of the bridge piles. The extension will be made by secure a metallic structure to the concrete one that already exists. By doing this we can place an additional prefabricated beam which will allow to increase the width of the platform. Therefore it is possible to increase in one lane the bridge’s platform. The existing piles are set into limestone rocks.

o The foundation of the abutments will be by independent abutments from the ones that already exist. It will be by piloted abutments on limestone to prevent differential settlement with the existing abutments. The piles only have one lateral wing because there are located against the existing ones.

The basic bidding budget is 891.881,15 €. This work will report a huge social profit to the population and because of the scale of the works we can consider this is a worthwhile project with the budget we have.
