Las actitudes docentes en el contexto de un aula hospitalaria

Abstract

RESUMEN El alumnado de Educación Secundaria enfermo y hospitalizado, está en un ambiente diferente al de su entorno habitual, abandona el instituto para recibir tratamiento médico y cuidados de diversos profesionales, pero igualmente tiene derecho a continuar con su proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Esto produce un paréntesis negativo en la vida del alumnado y su familia que tienen que superar. De ahí la importancia de la figura del docente en el aula hospitalaria, siendo uno de los pilares fundamentales en su proceso educativo. A parte de enseñar conocimientos es necesario que el “buen” docente no olvide su tarea pedagógica situada en el plano de “ser” donde se encuentran las actitudes. Estas últimas son relevantes en cualquier aula, pero en especial con el alumno hospitalizado. El trabajo que nos ocupa pretende conocer la importancia de las actitudes docentes en el aula hospitalaria de Cantabria.

ABSTRACT The students of Secondary Education, who are sick and hospitalized, are in a different environment than usual, so they are forced to leave the institute to receive medical treatment and attention from diverse professionals, but they also have the right to continue with their teaching-learning process. This fact produces a negative parenthesis both in the lives of the students and their families, which they must overcome together. Hence the importance of the figure of the teacher in the hospital classroom, being one of the mainstays in their educational process. In addition to teaching knowledge, it is necessary that the "good" teacher does not forget his pedagogical task located in the plane of "being" where attitudes are found. The latter are relevant in the classroom, but especially with the hospitalized student. The work that concerns us focuses on the importance of teaching attitudes in the hospital classroom of Cantabria.
