El efecto de las TIC en la evaluación de ELE en el sistema educativo finlandés

Abstract

RESUMEN: El siguiente trabajo de fin de máster es una investigación cuantitativa y cualitativa. Se analiza como el uso de las nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) despierta, en estudiante de 5º, 6º, 8º y 9º grado de la asignatura ELE de un centro finlandés, una mayor motivación y mejor obtención de calificaciones que en comparación con exámenes realizados de manera tradicional. Se determinaron cuatro categorías: conocer con cuál de las herramientas (papel, Kahoot o Plickers) se obtienen mejores resultados en el proceso de evaluación; analizar el impacto del uso de las TIC en la evaluación y su repercusión en la motivación y ansiedad del alumnado; comparar si dicha repercusión trasciende en las notas obtenidas; y realizar una revisión bibliográfica sobre la integración de las TIC en el currículum finlandés con especial atención al manejo de herramientas tecnológicas utilizadas por las maestras y estudiantes de ELE. Se concluye que: los docentes reconocen la importancia de la inclusión de las TIC en el proceso de evaluación; los estudiantes conocen las herramientas tecnológicas y disfrutan cuando las usan; y las notas se ven mejoradas cuando se realiza la evaluación mediante TIC en comparación con el tradicional test en papel.

ABSTRACT:This master thesis is a qualitative and quantitative research. It analyses how the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) stimulates in fifth, sixth, eighth and ninth Spanish as a SL Finnish graders, higher motivation and better results than when students take a traditional paper exam. Four categories were determined: to know with what tool (paper test, Kahoot or Plickers) students get better results; to analyse the impact of using ICT in the motivation and anxiety of the students and the assessment process; compare if using ICT makes students achieve higher marks; and conduct a bibliographic review of the Finnish curriculum closely with the use of digital tools by teachers and students of Spanish as a SL. It is concluded that teachers acknowledge the importance of including ICT as assessment tools; students know and use a larger number of technological tools and enjoy incorporating them in their learning process; and students get higher marks when they are assessed by ICT tools than when they make a traditional paper test.
