dc.description.abstractABSTRACT: This end of degree project aims to provide an example of how comics are an alternative reading support in order to improve reading comprehension in a foreign language. For this, a didactic approach has been developed using comics as a reading tool throughout a school year, aimed for 5th grade students without previous knowledge of the French language. The goal is to work on the reading proficiency through reading comics, doing activities to assess the level of understanding of the students, and at the same time serves them to develop the analysis ability relating images with texts, in order to the student interprets by himself the meaning of words, learn how to work both as a team and alone and enjoy reading comics. All this respecting the reading comprehension and comics in a foreign language, and paying attention to the errors and successes of how some of the French manuals work.es_ES
