Aprendizaje Cooperativo, una forma de trabajo con Altas Capacidades

Abstract

RESUMEN Las Altas capacidades son un colectivo incluido dentro de los alumnos con necesidades específicas de apoyo educativo. La definición de estos alumnos ha variado a lo largo de los años, pero, todas las definiciones coinciden en que son personas con un elevado coeficiente intelectual, un compromiso en la tarea y una elevada creatividad. Otras características que se atribuye a este tipo de alumnos, son el pensamiento divergente y abstracto muy desarrollado o la elevada velocidad de aprendizaje, entre otros. La identificación de estos alumnos, es un proceso complejo, en el que participa el departamento de orientación, el profesorado y el contexto familiar del alumno. El aprendizaje cooperativo es una metodología en el que la sinergia y la interdependencia positiva entre alumnos y docente, genera un ambiente favorecedor para el desarrollo y atención a la diversidad, incluyendo a los AACC. El presente trabajo recoge actividades basadas en el aprendizaje cooperativo, con la intención de favorecer el desarrollo personal e intelectual de los alumnos de altas capacidades, en la materia de biología y geología

ABSTRACT High intellectual abilities are a group included within the students with specific educational support needs. The definition of these students has varied over the years, but all definitions agree that they are people with a high IQ, a commitment in the task and a high creativity. Other characteristics attributed to this type of students are the highly developed divergent and abstract thinking or the high learning speed, among others. The identification of these students is a complex process in which the orientation department, the teaching staff and the student's family context participate. Cooperative learning is a methodology in which synergy and positive interdependence between students and teachers generates a favorable environment for development and attention to diversity, including HHIIAA. The present work includes activities based on cooperative learning, with the intention of favoring the personal and intellectual development of students of high intellectual abilities, in the field of biology and geology
