La integración educativa del alumnado sordo en Cantabria. Estudio de casos

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este estudio de casos pretende acercarse al ámbito educativo con el fin de explorar descriptiva y analíticamente sobre la integración del alumnado sordo en Cantabria. Este se ha realizado desde una perspectiva deconstructivista con el fin de indagar sobre cómo concepciones erróneas en torno a la sordera y la discapa-cidad pueden influir en el entorno sociocultural y por ende educativo. Se ha basa-do en una metodología mixta que combina técnicas de investigación con enfoques cualitativos y cuantitativos, fundamentada en la recopilación de las impresiones y opiniones de profesionales, familiares y personas sordas. Por último, tras el análi-sis se reflexiona sobre la necesidad de solventar las dificultades y barreras detec-tadas para alcanzar una integración educativa real.

ABSTRACT: This case study aims to approach the educational field in order to explore de-scriptively and analytically about the integration of deaf students in Cantabria. It has been done from a deconstructivist perspective to investigate how misconcep-tions about deafness and disability can influence the sociocultural sphere and therefore educational environment. It has been based on a mixed or prismatic methodology that combines research techniques with qualitative and quantitative approaches based on the collection of the opinions and notions of professionals, relatives and deaf people. Finally, the analysis reflects on the need to solve the difficulties and barriers detected in order to achieve real integration.
