Propuestas didácticas para la asignatura “física y química” a través del deporte.

Abstract

RESUMEN: A menudo, las asignaturas de ciencias no son las favoritas de los alumnos y deberíamos preguntarnos a qué es debido. Quizá la razón de todo ello radique más en el “cómo”, que en el “qué” de lo que se enseña. Existen investigaciones sobre los gustos y preferencias de los alumnos en sus actividades de tiempo libre estando el deporte, en la mayoría de los casos, a la cabeza de ellos. También acompañando al deporte aparecen, de distintas formas, el uso de las nuevas tecnologías, por lo que una mezcla de ambas podría parecer una manera óptima de motivar al alumno. En este trabajo se propone una iniciativa en esta línea, que la hemos dado en llamar:” Propuestas didácticas para la asignatura “Física y Química” a través del deporte”, con la que cada unidad didáctica de Física y Química de 4º de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO) se presentará con uno o varios deportes, a través de los cuales se motivará y ayudará a entender la Física y la Química, despertando de esta manera el interés hacia los fenómenos que nos rodean.

ABSTRACT: Subjects related with science are often not the favorite of students and we should ask ourselves the reason why. Perhaps the reason for all lies more on “how”, than on “what” about what is taught. There is research on the preferences of students in their leisure activities being sports, in most cases, at the head of them. Also with sports appear, in different ways, the use of new technologies, so a mixture of both could be seen as an optimal way to motivate the students. In this work, we propose an initiative with the following title: "Teaching proposals for the subject Physics and Chemistry through sports". Thus, each of the didactic units of the fourth year of ESO will be presented with one or more sports, through which students will be motivated towards an understanding of the subject of Physics and Chemistry, thus arousing interest towards the phenomena around us.
