RESUMEN El presente trabajo se centra en analizar el sexismo presente en la sociedad en general, y en la literatura infantil en particular.
Por un lado, analizaremos la evolución de la sociedad, centrándonos en la influencia social y cómo ésta ha influido en la evolución de la escolarización de las mujeres.
Por otro lado, investigaremos la función principal de la escuela, donde observaremos la importancia de la Educación Primaria, la necesidad de una continua formación por parte de los profesionales de la educación, y el uso de materiales flexibles y coeducativos dentro de las aulas escolares, con el fin de combatir el sexismo, tanto en la sociedad como en la educación.
Posteriormente, nos centraremos en el sexismo presente en la literatura infantil, y para ello, se hará especial hincapié a Turín, autora e historiadora, encargada de investigar los sesgos sexistas en la literatura infantil. A través de la colección “A favor de las niñas” y apoyándose en libros infantiles, denunció el sexismo presente en la sociedad. Nos centraremos en cuatro de sus álbumes ilustrados, observando cómo la autora intenta realzar la figura femenina y dotarla de importancia.
Finalmente, concluiremos esta investigación con la importancia de seguir indagando y trabajando para erradicar el sexismo presente tanto en la sociedad como en la literatura infantil. Para ello se deberá colaborar para conseguir una coeducación. Se debe apostar por el uso del álbum ilustrado, especialmente los cuatro mencionados en el presente trabajo, con el objetivo de erradicar el sexismo y apostar por una educación igualitaria.
ABSTRACT The present work focuses on analyzing the sexism present in society in general, and in children's literature in particular.
On the one hand, we will analyze the evolution of society, focusing on the social influence, and how it has influenced the evolution of schooling of women.
On the other hand, we will investigate the main function of the school, where we will observe the importance of Primary Education, the need for continuous training by education professionals, and the use of flexible and coeducational materials within the classroom, in order to combat sexism, both in society and in education.
Later, we will focus on the sexism present in children's literature, and for this, special emphasis will be placed on Adela Turin, author and historian, in charge of investigating sexist bias in children's literature. Through the collection "In favor of girls" based on children's books denounced the sexism present in society. We will focus on four of her illustrated albums, noting how the author attempts to enhance the female figure and give it great importance.
Finally, we will conclude this research with the importance of continuing research and working to eradicate the sexism present in both society and children's literature. To do this, it must collaborate to achieve coeducation. We must bet on the use of the illustrated album, especially the four mentioned in the present work, with the aim of eradicating sexism and betting on an egalitarian education.
