Análisis económico-financiero del sector de transporte marítimo y por vías navegables interiores en 2014 y 2015 en España

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo del presente trabajo final de carrera es la realización de un análisis económico y financiero del sector transporte marítimo y por vías navegables interiores, el estudio se ha realizado a ámbito nacional, siendo España el país seleccionado. Para conseguir este objetivo de la manera más satisfactoria posible primero se realizará una breve descripción del sector escogido a nivel internacional y de la misma manera de nuestro país, que nos servirá como introducción. Después se explicará de manera resumida como se ha realizado la elección de la muestra que más tarde será analizada y las fórmulas de los ratios que serán calculados en el siguiente apartado, esto se mostrará con una pequeña explicación teórica de cada ratio. Una vez finalizado ese apartado se llevará a cabo el estudio económico y financiero del sector, que es lo más importante de este trabajo, en el que se realizarán ratios tanto económicos como financieros de todas las empresas seleccionadas para el estudio (360 empresas). Se estudiarán y comentarán los resultados de los ratios de liquidez y solvencia, del nivel de endeudamiento, la autonomía financiera a medio y largo plazo y las rentabilidades tanto económica como financiera, entre otros. El citado estudio se ha realizado para los años 2014 y 2015. Para finalizar se realizarán unas conclusiones sobre los resultados más destacados o más alarmantes del sector y se ofrecerán ciertas medidas de mejora en caso de que algún resultado sea muy desfavorable.

ABSTRACT: The objective of this final work is to carry out an economic and financial analysis of the maritime transport sector and inland waterways, the study has been carried out at a national level, with Spain being the country selected. In order to achieve this objective in the most satisfactory way, first will be made a brief description of the chosen sector at the international level and in the same way as our country, which will serve as an introduction. Then we will explain in a summarized way in which the choice of the sample that was later analyzed and the formulas of the ratios to be calculated in the next section, this will be shown with a small theoretical explanation of each ratio. Once this section is finished, will be carried out the economic and financial study of the sector, which is the most important aspect of this work, in which will be realized both economic and financial ratios of all the companies selected for the study (360 companies). The results of the liquidity and solvency ratios, the level of indebtedness, the medium and long-term financial autonomy and the economic and financial profitability, among others, will be studied and discussed. The aforementioned study has been carried out for the years 2014 and 2015. Finally, conclusions will be made on the most salient or most alarming results of the sector and certain improvement measures will be offered in the event of any very unfavorable outcome.
