Logística de distribución de válvulas, bridas y tubos metálicos entre España y Chile

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la logística de distribución de válvulas, bridas y tubos metálicos entre España y Chile. Para ello, en primer lugar se han analizado las infraestructuras terrestres, marítimas y aéreas de ambos países para obtener una visión general y detectar posibles limitaciones. A continuación se han estudiado las vías de comunicación entre ambos países, descartándose el transporte aéreo por las características del producto y la vía alternativa por Argentina, y los operadores logísticos que operan en Chile. En segundo lugar, se analizan las características del producto debido a que condicionan el proceso logístico, la comercialización, para determinar su demanda, la unidad de envío y la documentación necesaria para la exportación. La mercancía a transportar son productos metálicos de gran volumen y peso, con alto nivel de demanda, lo que determina que la unidad de envío sea contenedor completo. Posteriormente, se analizan las distintas rutas entre los países indicando las ventajas e inconvenientes de cada uno. Analizadas las variables costes, frecuencia, tiempo medio de transporte y riesgo, se estima que el puerto de Bilbao es el mas adecuado para el envío de contenedores. Por último se determinan los costes totales del proceso logístico y su repercusión por unidad de mercancía.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to analyze the valves, bridges and metal tubes distribution from Spain to Chile. To do this, first , there has been made an analysis about the ground, sea and air infrastructure of each country in order to obtain an overview and detect posible limitations. Next, the routes of communication between both countries and the logistics companies that opérate in Chile have been studied. Air transport and alternative route through Argentina are discarded due to the product characteristics. Secondly, the characteristics of the product have been analyzed because they determine the logistic process, the commercialization has been studied in order to determine the demand, the sending unit and the export documentation. The goods to be transported are metallic products of great volume and weight, the level of demand is high, for this reason the shipping unit is the container. Later, the different routes between the countries are analyzed, there indicated the advantages and disadvantages of each one. The variables costs, frequencies, time of transport and risk have been analyzed. This analysis has shown that port Bilbao is the most suitable for the containers shipping. Lastly, the logistics process total cost and its impact per unit have been determined.
