Diferencias de género en el mercado laboral

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este Trabajo Fin de Grado es la realización de un análisis estadístico descriptivo para evaluar y presentar ordenadamente la información obtenida acerca de las diferencias en el mercado laboral entre hombres y mujeres, en los sectores de la agricultura, la industria, la construcción y los servicios desde el año 2008 al año 2016. En particular, se han extraído datos referentes a dos Comunidades Autónomas muy diferenciadas como son Madrid y Cantabria. Asimismo, se analiza la evolución de dos indicadores macroeconómicos como son el Producto Interior Bruto y el Valor Añadido Bruto en términos reales, así como el porcentaje de empleo asalariado y no asalariado sobre el empleo total para poder constatar las diferencias que existen en cada sector. El análisis llevado a cabo se apoya en diferentes técnicas numéricas y gráficas de la estadística descriptiva. La información ha sido extraída del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, en particular, de la Contabilidad Regional de España y de la Encuesta de Población Activa.

ABSTRACT: The objective of this Final Degree Paper is to conduct a descriptive statistical analysis to evaluate and present in an orderly way the information obtained on the differences in the labour market between men and women in the sectors of agriculture, industry, construction and Services from 2008 to 2016. In particular, data have been extracted referring to two very distinct Autonomous Communities such as Madrid and Cantabria. It also analyzes the evolution of two macroeconomic indicators such as Gross Domestic Product and Gross Value Added in real terms, as well as the percentage of salaried and non-salaried employment in total employment in order to be able to verify the differences that exist in each sector. The analysis carried out is based on different numerical and graphical techniques of descriptive statistics. The information has been extracted from the National Statistics Institute, in particular from the Regional Accounting of Spain and from the Survey of Active Population.
