RESUMEN: El objeto del presente Trabajo Final de Grado es analizar el comportamiento financiero de las empresas exportadoras de la región de Cantabria, durante el periodo comprendido entre los años 2005 y 2015.
En la presente crisis, el único motor de crecimiento de la economía tanto española como cántabra han sido las exportaciones, atenuando en parte la fuerte caída de la demanda interna.
La exportación no sólo genera beneficios para el país o región sino también para las propias empresas que realizan la actividad de exportar. La creciente globalización de la economía genera la necesidad empresarial de involucrarse en el mercado mundial, buscando mayor rentabilidad en los mercados internacionales y asegurando la existencia de la empresa a largo plazo.
Los incentivos proporcionados por los diferentes organismos tanto regionales como españoles y europeos, han supuesto una gran ayuda sobre todo para las pymes.
Los resultados indican que las empresas exportadoras tienen capacidad suficiente para cumplir con sus obligaciones a corto plazo. Así mismo han mostrado una gran solvencia a la hora del pago de sus deudas contraídas. Actualmente las empresas para poder financiar sus actividades se acogen a sus recursos internos, hecho motivado por la falta de acceso a la financiación externa. Un aspecto muy importante es que tanto la rentabilidad económica como la rentabilidad financiera se han desplomado drásticamente desde el inicio de la recesión económica.
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this Final Grade Paper is to analyze the financial behavior of exporting companies in Cantabria´s region during the period between 2005 and 2015.
In the crisis we are living nowadays, the only element of economic growth has been exports, diminished in part the strong depression of his internal demand.
The exportations do not only generate benefits for the country or the region, but also for the companies that carry out the export activity. The growing globalization of the economy generates the business need to become involved in the world market, looking for better profitability in the international markets and ensuring the existence of the company in the long term.
The incentives provided by the different regional, Spanish and European organisms have supposed a great help, especially for SMEs.
The results indicate that exporting companies have enough capacity to carry out their short-term obligations. They have also shown great solvency at the time of payment of their debts incurred. Currently, companies use their internal resources to be able to finance their activities, caused by the lack of access to external financing. A very important aspect is that both economic profitability and financial profitability have plummeted drastically since the start of the economic recession.
