El tratamiento de los fenómenos migratorios y sus implicaciones en los libros de texto de ciencias sociales en educación primaria

Abstract

RESUMEN Este trabajo pretende reflexionar sobre el uso del libro de texto en el área de Ciencias Sociales en Educación Primaria y el tratamiento en ellos de las migraciones y sus repercusiones en la sociedad. El estudio de este tema es fundamental para que el alumnado consiga participar eficaz y constructivamente en sociedades cada vez más diversificadas, uno de los objetivos principales de las Ciencias Sociales. Para llevar a cabo nuestro estudio, se analizan dos libros de 6º curso, llegando a la conclusión, de que el tratamiento de este tema es escaso, lo que dificulta la comprensión real de la sociedad actual.

ABSTRACT This work pretend to reflect on the use of the textbook in Social Sciences in Primary Education and the treatment in them of the migrations and their repercussions in the society. The study of this subject is fundamental for students to be able to participate effectively and constructively in increasingly diversified societies, one of the main objectives of the Social Sciences. For this purpose, are analyzed two books of sixth grade, concluiding that the treatment of this subject is scarce, which makes difficult the real understanding of the current society.
