RESUMEN: El objetivo del presente trabajo de fin de grado es ofrecer una exposición sobre los rasgos característicos de las llamadas Mutuas Colaboradoras con la Seguridad Social, que a mi juicio, son bastante desconocidas por la población.
Las Mutuas Colaboradoras con la Seguridad Social son entidades de carácter privado pero con connotaciones públicas a las que se le han otorgado cada vez más atribuciones. Éstas han sufrido una gran evolución a lo largo de más de un siglo existencia.
Desde sus inicios han velado por el bienestar de los trabajadores, tratando de protegerlos frente a los riesgos que derivan de su trabajo. Han propiciado que no se produzcan los accidentes de trabajo con actividades de preventivas y una vez ya producidos han proporcionado la asistencia médica y las prestaciones económicas necesarias.
Siempre intentando dar la mejor calidad pero sin olvidar la eficiencia, debiendo obtener la mayor rentabilidad posible.
ABSTRACT: The main objective of the present final degree Project is to offer an exposition of the characteristics of the so-colled Mutual Insurance Collaborating Companies with the National Social Welfare, which in my view, are quite unkown for the general population.
The Mutual Insurance Collaborating Companies with the National Social Welfare belong to the private sector but enjoy state connotations which are increasingly being attributed.
In fact, these attributions have experienced a great development and growth for over more than a century of existence.
Since their inception, they have worked to ensure the welfare of workers, trying to protect them from the safety hazards deriving from their work. They have favoured the right conditions to avoid work accidents with prevention activities and if may any accident have occurred, they have provided both medical assistance and necessary economic benefits.
These actions are rendered not only offering the best quality but also the highest effiency aiming to achieve the greatest rate of profitability
