Evolución del estado del bienestar en España a lo largo del siglo XX

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo de investigación pretende estudiar la evolución del Estado de Bienestar a lo largo del siglo XX. Para ello se analiza, en primer lugar, el contexto histórico para posteriormente fijar los objetivos, delimitar el concepto del tema que estamos tratando y los diferentes modelos que manejamos. La parte central del documento se encarga de realizar un análisis de la evolución del Estado del Bienestar durante el siglo XX, en el que se repasan las leyes más importantes creadas en cada etapa y de igual modo, se realiza una comparación entre ellas, para entender la manera en que los acontecimientos que marcan cada época histórica influyen en el estado de bienestar y por ende, en la calidad de vida de la población. Asimismo, este texto también profundiza en el papel de la mujer en el Estado del Bienestar y su evolución a lo largo de estas tres importantes etapas del siglo pasado.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this investigation is to study the evolution of the Welfare State in Spain throughout the XX century. To this end, the historic context is analysed in the first place, in order to set the objectives and define the topic of this paper. The main part of the document explores the developement of the Welfare State during the past century, covering the most relevant laws promulgated in each period, with the purpose of comparing them to understand how the events which marked every stage, have an impact on the Welfare State, and therefore, on the quality of life of the population. Furtheremore, this investigation sheds light on the role of women in the Welfare State and their evolution throughout the three most important time periods of the last century.
