La literatura inglesa: Una herramienta didáctica en Educación Infantil

Abstract

RESUMEN: El aprendizaje de lenguas extranjeras en el aula de Educación Infantil ha sufrido una evolución positiva en los últimos años. Cada vez es mayor la conciencia social y educativa por aprender un idioma diferente al de nuestra lengua materna, y por esta razón, afloran todo tipo de recursos educativos. Un buen ejemplo de ello es el uso de la literatura inglesa en el aula, que se postula como un elemento enriquecedor de los diferentes aprendizajes en el alumnado (cognitivo, afectivo y social) así como un material con un gran valor lúdico. No obstante, el profesorado de Educación Infantil no posee la formación necesaria en este terreno. A través de este proyecto, se pretende mostrar a todos sus destinatarios (alumnos y docentes) los beneficios que se derivan del uso de relatos literarios en el aula y observar todas aquellas debilidades que deban ser modificadas para obtener una educación de calidad. Este trabajo apuesta por una metodología sencilla y positiva, que cuenta con materiales de trabajo auténticos, capaces de otorgar valiosa información para su posterior análisis. Su sencilla organización, permite realizar un trabajo de campo durante el segundo trimestre del curso escolar 2017-2018, sin suponer elevados costes en su diseño e implantación. Se trata de que la literatura inglesa sea un elemento de aprendizaje verdaderamente significativo para todos los agentes implicados

ABSTRACT:Learning of foreign languages in Early Childhood’s classrooms has evolved positively in the last years. Social and educational awareness on learning a different language from our mother’s tongue is progressively acquiring more importance, and due to this fact, different educational resources are flourishing nowadays. A good example is the use of English literature in the classroom, which can be postulated as an enriching element of the different types of learning in the students (cognitive, affective, and social) also as a tool which an important playful value. However, Early Childhood Education’s teachers do not have the necessary training on this subject. Through this project, I aim to evince all it is addresses (students and teachers) the benefits that result of the use of literary stories in the classroom and remarking every weak-ness that ought to be modified to achieve a quality education. This project strives for a simple and positive methodology, which includes real work materials, capable of giving us valuable information for it is further analysis. It simple organization will allow us to undertake a fieldwork during the second trimester of the school year 2017-2018, without that meaning the need of high expenses for it is designed implantation. It is about English literature becoming as very significant learning tool for all it is involved factors.
