Referencia móvil a lo largo de una curva

Abstract

RESUMEN: La noción de referencia móvil a lo largo de una curva en R3 se puede generalizar en varios contextos. Se pretende dar un marco general, estudiando los movimientos en R3 y viendo diferentes interpretaciones del grupo de las rotaciones SO(3), para obtener las fórmulas de tipo Frenet-Serret y el vector de Darboux, que rige el comportamiento de la referencia móvil, en tres situaciones particulares: la referencia de Frenet-Serret, las referencias RM y la referencia de Darboux de una curva contenida en una superficie. Además, se estudiarán ciertas propiedades interesantes que poseen estas referencias y cómo pueden relacionarse entre sí.

ABSTRACT: The notion of moving frame along a curve in R3 can be generalized in several contexts. By studying the movements in R3 and seeing different interpretations of the group of rotations SO(3), we want to give a general framework to obtain the Frenet-Serret type equations and the Darboux vector, which regulates the behaviour of the moving frame, in three particular situations: the Frenet-Serret frame, the RM frames and the Darboux frame of a surface curve. Furthermore, we will study certain interesting properties these frames have and how they can be related to each other.
