Un patrimonio histórico singular: la moda española en el siglo XIX

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en analizar los cambios que se producen en la estética de los españoles durante el siglo XIX, los cuales son el resultado de la rápida evolución que se produce en la cultura de la época. En el trabajo de investigación se realiza una aproximación a la moda en la España decimonónica, tanto masculina como femenina, prestando una mayor atención a esta última, que acabaría resultando especialmente sensible a los numerosos cambios político-sociales y avances tecnológicos. Analizaré, también, la difusión de la moda mediante las revistas y la retratística romántica.

ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is about analyze the evolution of Spanish people’s aesthetic along 19th century; it is connected to the important cultural changes of that time. This work tries to make an approach to the nineteenth-century Spanish fashion. We’ll develop male and female clothing this last one will be the most important because it’s especially sensitive to the politics and society changes and technological advances. Also we deal aspects as spreading of fashion through magazines and Romanticism portrait.
