El valor de los medios audiovisuales en la formación inicial del profesorado de educación primaria: el rol del profesor como filósofo en el contexto del aula

Abstract

RESUMEN El propósito de este trabajo consiste en promover el cine como modelo pedagógico para la formación inicial docente. Asimismo, mediante el análisis de la película El Club de los Poetas Muertos, se indagará en la influencia de la escuela en los sistemas sociales y se profundizará en la figura del profesor, visualizando a John Keating, protagonista del film, como filósofo del aula. El marco teórico que sustenta la inclusión de los medios audiovisuales en la escuela se referencia mediante los argumentos de varios expertos en esta temática, del mismo modo, en este estudio se emplearán documentos legales sobre el Grado de Educación Primaria. Por último, se hará hincapié en la trascendencia educativa de esta película para la formación docente del alumnado en este Grado de la Universidad de Cantabria

ABSTRACT The purpose of this investigation is to promote the cinema as a pedagogical model for initial teacher training. Also, a analysis of the film Dead Poets Society is made in order to investigate the influence of school in social systems and to deepen in the figure of the teacher, visualizing John Keating, protagonist of the film, as a philosopher of the classroom. The theoretical framework that supports the inclusion of the audiovisual resources in the school is referenced by the arguments of several experts in this subject, likewise, a Elementary Education Degree Program legal documents will be used in this enquiry. Finally, the educational significance of this film will be focused in the teacher training at this University of Cantabria Degree.
