El pensamiento político de Antonio Gramsci y su actualidad

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este trabajo nos vamos a ocupar de los nódulos principales del pensamiento político elaborado por el italiano Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937) y por su particular legado que lo ha mentenido como un tema de actualidad hasta nuestros días. Los conceptos clave de hegemonía, bloque histórico e intelectual orgánico han nutrido buena parte de los debates políticos e historiográficos de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, insinuándose también como un factor clave en los albores del XXI. Pese a la pertenencia de Gramsci a una tradición política, el comunismo leninista, que ha entrado en claro declive tras el derrumbe del Bloque del Este en 1991, sus lineamientos no solo parecen no haberse resentido sino que al contrario han cobrado nuevo vigor e interés entre los especialistas. Analizaremos en qué contexto fueron producidos, cómo delimitarlos y por qué ocupan esa centralidad analítico-discursiva aún hoy.

ABSTRACT: In this paper we are going to focus on the main nodes of political thought developed by the Italian Antonio Gramsci (1891-1937) and his particular legacy that has kept him as a current topic until today. The key concepts of hegemony, historic bloc and organic intellectual have nurtured much of the political and historiographic debates of the second half of the 20th century, also insinuating itself as a key factor in the dawn of 21st. In spite of Gramsci's membership in a political tradition, leninist communism, which has come into clear decline after the collapse of Eastern Bloc in 1991, its guidelines not only do not seem to have not resented but instead have gained new vigor and interest among specialists. We will analize in what context they were produced, how to delimit them and why they occupy this analytic-discursive centrality even today.
