Análisis del mercado de trabajo de la Unión Europea: diferencias entre norte y sur

Abstract

RESUMEN: A través del presente trabajo, se pretende mostrar cuáles son los principales problemas en el mercado de trabajo de la Unión Europea. Para ello, el análisis se centrará en los países del norte y Sur de la misma, durante el periodo comprendido entre el año 2008, momento en el que comienza la recesión económica, hasta la actualidad. En este sentido, se realizará un estudio de dicho mercado de trabajo en base a las tasas básicas de análisis del mercado laboral, como son la tasa de desempleo, actividad u ocupación, pero se pretenderá ir más allá teniendo en cuenta otras características como la brecha fiscal, salarios mínimos o políticas activas y pasivas. Además, de mostrar como esto es diferente dependiendo de si el país miembro analizado se encuentra en el Norte o Sur de Europa. Diferencias que además se han visto acrecentadas durante el periodo recesivo

ABSTRACT: The aim of this report is to analyse the main problems the labour market is currently facing in the EU. In order to do this, we will analyse countries in northern and southern Europe from 2008 when the economic decline began until present times. In this respect, we will carry out a study of the labour market according to the standard rates of the market such as unemployment rates or employment rates. However, I will try to analyse this further by considering other facts such as the fiscal gap, the minimum wage rate or the active and passive policies. Furthermore, I would like to show how all these facts differ in northern and southern countries and how these differences have worsened during the recession.
