El holocausto en los libros de texto

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar cuál es el papel que se le otorga a un acontecimiento histórico de relevancia, en este caso el Holocausto, en los libros de texto que actualmente se recomiendan en el primer curso de Bachillerato. Por ello, en primer lugar haré un análisis del Holocausto desde una perspectiva histórica que sirva para sentar unas bases y comprender su desarrollo y su trascendencia; para pasar, en segundo lugar, a cuestionar cuál es su papel en la enseñanza actual y comparar el peso y el trato que recibe en los diferentes libros de texto. Por último, expondré mi experiencia personal a través de la unidad didáctica sobre el Holocausto que trabajé durante mi periodo de prácticas.

ABSTRACT: The objective of the present paper is to analyze what role is given to a relevant historical event, in this case the Holocaust, in the textbooks currently recomended in the first year of Bachillerato. Thus, in the first place I will make an analysis of the Holocaust from a historical perspective that serves to lay a foundation and understands its development and its significance; to pass, secondly, to question what their role is in the current teaching and compare the weight and the treatment that receives in the different textbooks. Finally, I will expose my personal experience through the didactic unit on the Holocaust that I worked during my practice period.
