Abstract

ABSTRACT: Instrument for endoscopic surgery that comprises a handle, a distal tool and a mechanism for articulation of the distal tool, linked to the handle by means of a linking mechanism, which comprises an extender tube that accommodates an actuating rod and an intermediate tube arranged between the two. The articulation mechanism comprises a rocker, a short connecting rod and a long connecting rod, such that the actuating rod and the two connecting rods are articulated to the rocker at three points of the latter, respectively, and the connecting rods are articulated individually to the distal tool at points thereof, the long connecting rod furthermore being linked to the intermediate tube by means of a cam link, with the result that a translational movement of the intermediate tube relative to the actuating rod gives rise to the articulation of the distal tool about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the extender tube.

RESUMEN: Instrumento para cirugía endoscópica que comprende un mango, una herramienta distal y un mecanismo de articulación de la herramienta distal enlazado al mango por medio de un mecanismo de enlace, el cual comprende un tubo prolongador que aloja una varilla de accionamiento y un tubo intermedio dispuesto entre ambos. El mecanismo de articulación comprende un balancín, una biela corta y una biela larga, de manera que la varilla de accionamiento y las dos bielas se articulan al balancín en tres puntos del mismo, respectivamente, y las bielas se articulan a la herramienta distal en sendos puntos de la misma, enlazándose además la biela larga al tubo intermedio por medio de un enlace de leva, con lo cual una traslación del tubo intermedio relativa a la varilla de accionamiento produce la articulación de la herramienta distal alrededor de un eje perpendicular al eje longitudinal del tubo prolongador.
