Vídeos para educar

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo trata de poner de manifiesto el potencial del vídeo como herramienta presente de forma activa en las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación. Debemos entender esta herramienta tanto como un útil tecnológico que nos puede facilitar el desarrollo de las clases, como una herramienta que tiene por sí misma un lenguaje, unas connotaciones y unas características propias para educar y enseñar a los alumnos y alumnas del siglo XXI que han nacido sabiendo usar Internet y las nuevas tecnologías. Además, a lo largo de este trabajo, pretendo conocer de primera mano, a través de del estudio del impacto que ejerce el vídeo en un grupo de estudiantes de 2º de Bachillerato de Artes del I.E.S. Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, donde tuve la oportunidad de impartir una Unidad Didáctica y utilizar el vídeo en varios formatos. Además, durante este trabajo denominado “Vídeos para educar”, desarrollaré una Propuesta Pedagógica del uso del vídeo tomando como ejemplo la Unidad Didáctica anterior dirigida a estos alumnos y poder comprobar así, que se puede llevar a cabo el mismo desarrollo de clase, pero utilizando el vídeo en sus múltiples posibilidades y formatos.

ABSTRACT: This project attempts to highlight the potential of video as an active information and communications technology tool within education. We must understand this tool as a useful technology that can help us during the delivery of classes. Also, video has its own language and characteristics that if we know how to use correctly, we could better teach 21st century students. In addition, throughout this project I learnt firsthand the impact that video can have. This was achieved by studying a group of students in their 2nd year of Further Education in Manuel Gutierrez Aragon high school, where I had the opportunity to teach a unit using video in different formats. Also during this work called "Videos to educate" I create a Pedagogical Proposal of the use of video. This proposal is to develop the same unit with the same level of students but creating alternative uses for video with which we could gain more benefits.
