Evolución del mercado de trabajo juvenil en España tras la última recesión económica

Abstract

RESUMEN: Muchos artículos académicos consideran a España como uno de los países peor parados en lo referente a las condiciones laborales de sus trabajadores, por eso el objetivo final de este trabajo es caracterizar el mercado laboral español y sus condiciones, basando la mayor parte del estudio en la situación laboral de los jóvenes (16 a 29 años). En primer lugar, me centrare en el mercado de trabajo juvenil, analizando detalladamente aspectos relevantes como son las características de los puestos de trabajo (el salario que perciben los individuos, los niveles de desempleo, el tipo de contrato predominante en los jóvenes y las emigraciones) para de esta forma responder a la hipótesis de nuestro trabajo, la cual es: La evolución del mercado de trabajo juvenil en España tras la última crisis económica. Posteriormente, se realizará un breve análisis descriptivo del mercado laboral en España (en la última columna de las principales tablas), en el cual incluiré todos los grupos de edad, para de esta forma conocer cómo ha evolucionado la situación laboral en España con la última crisis económica. Para poder realizarlo, llevaré a cabo un análisis descriptivo del mercado de trabajo juvenil español a través del cual se concluye que existen factores como la alta tasa de temporalidad, los menores salarios y la predominancia del sector servicios (poco productivo) que caracterizan los empleos de los jóvenes españoles tras la última crisis económica, lo cual les incentiva a emigrar en busca de mejores oportunidades.

ABSTRACT: Many academic papers consider Spain as one of the countries worse off in terms of working conditions of its workers, so the ultimate goal of this work is to characterize the Spanish labor market and its conditions, basing most of the study in the employment situation of young people (16-29 years). Firstly, I will focus on the youth labor market, analyzing in detail relevant aspects such as the characteristics of the jobs (the salary received by young people, unemployment levels, the predominant type of contract in the young people and the emigrations) to respond to the hypothesis of our work, which is: the evolution of the youth labor market in Spain after the last economic crisis. Later, I will make a brief descriptive analysis of the labor market in Spain (in the last column of the main tables), which I will include all age groups, to know how it has evolved the employment situation in Spain with the last economic crisis. In order to do this, I will carry out a descriptive analysis of the youth labor market in Spain whereby I conclude that there are factors such as the high rate of temporary employment, the lower wages and predominance of the service sector (little productive) that characterize the jobs of the young people in Spain after the last economic crisis, which encourages them to emigrate in search of better opportunities.
