Perfil docente en GADE para estudiantes con alta capacidad

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objeto que se persigue en este TFG es determinar si el personal docente de la UC, en concreto de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales, está preparado para recibir y atender en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje a estudiantes menores de edad, acelerados en los anteriores ciclos formativos por ser estudiantes con altas capacidades. Para ello, se revisa la legislación sobre altas capacidades que permite la identificación y aceleración de estos estudiantes en los distintos ciclos formativos. Se expone el movimiento existente tanto a nivel nacional como europeo para sensibilizar, informar, detectar y atender a estos estudiantes. Se recogen las características de estos estudiantes según varios autores de reconocido prestigio, y se estudia el perfil docente adecuado para atenderlos de forma exitosa. Para comprobar la adecuación del personal docente se realiza una encuesta auto-administrada al profesorado de la citada Facultad, obteniendo respuesta de 39 docentes. Los resultados evidencian que el profesorado cuenta con conocimientos generales sobre diferentes metodologías de enseñanza y modelos organizativos. No obstante, se pone de manifiesto una falta de formación sobre las metodologías, modalidades y situaciones en el aula que específicamente favorecen la atención de las necesidades formativas de este tipo de estudiantes. Estos hallazgos revelan que se debe seguir avanzando en la formación del profesorado en este sentido, de tal manera que alcancen el nivel de preparación exigido cuando reciban en el aula a estudiantes con altas capacidades. Los principales colectivos interesados en este trabajo son la propia Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales y el resto de Facultades y Escuelas de la UC, que deben identificar las necesidades de formación de sus docentes para la mejor atención de estos estudiantes, el Sistema de Orientación de la Universidad de Cantabria (SOUCAN) y las familias de estudiantes con altas capacidades.

ABSTRACT: The aim pursued in this Final Project is to determine whether the faculty of the University of Cantabria, specifically the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, is ready to receive and respond to the teaching-learning younger students old, accelerated in previous training courses being students with high capacities. To this end, high capacities legislation that allows the identification and acceleration of these students in different training courses is reviewed. The existing movement exposes both national and European level to raise awareness, inform, detect and care for these students. The characteristics of these students are collected by several renowned authors, and appropriate teaching profile is studied to address them successfully. To check the suitability of teachers self-administered survey teachers of that faculty, obtaining response of 39 teachers is done. The results show that teachers have general knowledge about different teaching methodologies and organizational models. However, it shows a lack of training on methodologies, modalities and classroom situations that specifically favor the attention of the training needs of such students. These findings reveal that further progress is needed in teacher training in this regard, so they reach the required level of training they receive in the classroom for students with high capacities. The main stakeholders in this work are the own Faculty of Business and Economics and the rest of Colleges and Schools of the University of Cantabria, which should identify the training needs of their teachers for the best care of these students, the System Orientation of the University of Cantabria (SOUCAN) and families of students with high capacities.
