Análisis del Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera nivel A2 (DELE A2) como prueba de lengua para la obtención de la nacionalidad española por residencia

Abstract

RESUMEN: El área temática en la que se inscribe este proyecto se corresponde con la Evaluación del DELE A2 como prueba de lengua dirigida a los solicitantes de nacionalidad española por residencia. En concreto con la Evaluación Acreditativa de Idiomas y, dentro de este campo, con sus diferentes tipos. Se ha pretendido valorar en qué medida este examen de diploma se adapta, considerando que es una prueba cuyo diseño persigue unos objetivos concretos, al perfil de dichas personas. Para ello, en primer lugar, se han contrastado los sistemas de evaluación que se emplean en Alemania, España, Francia y Reino Unido. Posteriormente, se ha realizado un estudio comparativo y contrastivo del DELE (A2 y A2/B1 para escolares) y del SIELE, pruebas ambas acreditativas del nivel de lengua española. A continuación, se han considerado las percepciones y valoraciones de los principales actores involucrados: candidatos y profesores-examinadores. Para concluir, teniendo en cuenta todo lo recabado, se han detallado una serie de consideraciones que se cree deberían contemplarse para lograr una mejor adecuación de esta prueba de lengua al perfil de estos, sus nuevos usuarios, desde que el 8 de noviembre de 2015 entrara en vigor el Real Decreto 1004/2015.

ABSTRACT:

The subject matter of this thesis is an evaluation of the Diploma in Spanish as a foreign language test (DELE –Diploma de español como lengua extranjera–, in Spanish), level A2, for candidates applying for Spanish nationality through residence. Specifically, as regards the Assessment of proof of language skills to support the application, and the different types of language assessment of which the test is comprised. The level to which the language test is adapted according to the profile of such candidates will be evaluated, taking into account the fact that it is a test that is designed with specific aims in mind. In order to carry out such an evaluation, a comparison has been made between the language assessment systems used in Germany, Spain, France and the United Kingdom. Subsequently a comparative and contrasting investigation of the DELE (A2 and A2/B1 for schools) and the International Spanish Language Assessment test (SIELE –Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española–, in Spanish) has been carried out. Both tests are proof of Spanish Language level. Afterwards, the perspective and evaluation of the main parties involved: candidates and teachers-examiners has been studied. In conclusion, after having considered the information gathered, some recommendations have been made in order to improve the suitability of this language test to the profile of the new candidates taking the test as of 8th November 2015 when the Royal Decree 1004/2015 came into force.
