Propuesta de clasificación de los espacios turísticos litorales en España: a partir de las encuestas de ocupación de alojamientos turísticos del INE

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este trabajo hace un análisis de las principales zonas y puntos turísticos del litoral español en relación a las características de la oferta y demanda. Las fuentes utilizadas son las encuestas de hostelería y turismo elaboradas por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística en lo referente a la ocupación hotelera, en apartamentos turísticos, en campings y en alojamientos de turismo rural. El objetivo principal ha sido profundizar en los aspectos más destacados que definen los rasgos característicos del actual modelo turístico de sol y playa, elaborando para ello una clasificación de espacios litorales afectados por dichas prácticas.

ABSTRACT: This work makes an analysis of areas and points on the Spanish coast in relation to the characteristics of the offer and demand. Sources used in this project are some different surveys occupation of hospitality and tourism of the INE about hotel accommodation, tourist apartments accommodation, campsite accommodation and rural tourism accommodation. The main objective is to study the principal aspects that define the characteristics of the current tourism model of sun and beach in Spain by preparing for it a classification of coastal tourism.
