The main objectives of this thesis are to establish the minimum number of individuals buried in this kind of burial places, analyse the demographical and paleopathological information that the skeletons provide, and to assess if the subadult population is underrepresented in burial caves. The first two objectives are especially important for the general knowledge of Prehistoric populations in the region, as this dissertation is the first attempt to explain health and living conditions of infants during any period of Prehistory in Cantabria. However, it is important to bear in mind that an anthropological comparative study of human remains from Cantabrian burial caves has never been done.}, title = {La población infantil y juvenil inhumada en las cuevas sepulcrales de Cantabria durante la Prehistoria Reciente}, author = {Arróniz Pamplona, Leyre}, }
