The spectral overlap of two uniform fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) has been employed as filtering technique to achieve a Single Longitudinal Mode (SLM) regime. By measuring the RF beat frequency between the two orthogonal polarized lasing modes and the absolute wavelength of one mode, both strain and temperature has been determined simultaneously.}, publisher = {SPIE Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers}, publisher = {Proceedings of SPIE, 2014, 9157, 91572B}, publisher = {23rd International Conference on Optical Fibre Sensors, Santander, 2014}, title = {Polarimetric DBR fiber laser sensor for strain-temperature discrimination}, author = {Rodríguez Cobo, Luis and Quintela Incera, María Ángeles and Laarossi, Ismail and López Higuera, José Miguel}, }
