abstract = {RESUMEN: Diseño del estudio: se realiza una revisión sistemática de los artículos que analizan los diferentes
dispositivos ortopédicos en niños con PC.
Objetivos: analizar si las ortesis producen efectos beneficiosos en los niños con PC.
Métodos: mediante una búsqueda bibliográfica a través de la base de datos Medline y otras bases
como la biblioteca cochrane y PEDro, realizamos una selección de los diferentes artículos que
cumplan los criterios de inclusión y de exclusión establecidos.
Resultados: Solo un artículo sobre el uso de la ortesis dinámica DAFO muestra mejoras. Dos
artículos que valoran la ortesis de tobillo-pie AFO se contradicen en los resultados. Por lo tanto,
se requiere más investigación para poder ver la efectividad de estos dispositivos.
Conclusiones: Se necesita más investigación sobre la efectividad de estos dispositivos. Las ortesis
no son beneficiosas para todos los niños con PC por lo que se requiere una valoración previa de
las necesidades propias de cada paciente, de esta manera se podrán establecer objetivos claros, y
bien definidos.},
abstract = {ABSTRACT: Research design: A systematic review is realised about the articles which analyse the different
orthopedics devices in children with cerebral palsy.
Objectives: analysing if orthoses produce beneficial effects in children with cerebral palsy.
Methods: Through a bibliographical research using Medline database and other databases such as
Cochrane and PEDro libraries, we select different articles which accomplish the inclusion and
exclusion established criteria.
Results: Only one of the articles about the use of a dynamic orthoses shows improvements. Two
articles which value Ankle Foot Orthoses contradict themselves in the results. Therefore, it is
required more investigation in order to see the effectiveness of those devices.
Conclusions: A deeper investigation about the effectiveness in the devices is needed. The orthoses
are not beneficial, so it is required a previous valuation of the suitable needs of each patient. In this
way clear objectives will be established and well defined.},
