abstract = {Resumen El objetivo del presente trabajo es profundizar en el concepto de álbum ilustrado postmoderno desde diferentes perspectivas, así como las características que lo definen. Además, se resaltan los beneficios que puede aportar al alumnado del segundo y tercer ciclo de Educación Primaria, utilizándolo en el aula de Lengua Extranjera (inglés) para entrenar al alumnado en dos tipos de alfabetizaciones esenciales en el mundo en el que vivimos: el lenguaje escrito y el visual.
Finalmente, este trabajo concluye con la recomendación de diferentes álbumes ilustrados postmodernos, algunas sugerencias metodológicas y un listado de actividades que podrían realizarse con este tipo de álbumes con la convencimiento de que el profesorado haya encontrado en este trabajo suficientes razones como para empezar a implantarlo en sus prácticas escolares diarias.},
abstract = {Abstract The aim of this paper is to deepen in the concept of the postmodern picturebook from different views, as well as the features that describe it. In addition, it has been emphasized the benefits that it may bring to students who are in Primary Education from year three to year six, using it in the English classroom to train them in the use of two essential types of literacies nowadays: the written and the visual language.
Finally, this paper will conclude with the recommendation of different postmodern picturebooks, some methodological suggestions, and a list of activities that could be put into practice with the firm belief that teachers had found in this work enough reasons as to start to realize it in their everyday school lessons},
