En este contexto, instituciones científicas modernas, como la Junta para Ampliación de Estudios e Investigaciones Científicas (JAE) y su Centro de Estudios Históricos (CEH), se convirtieron en plataformas fundamentales para la formación de un nuevo tipo de mujer, la denominada «mujer moderna». abstract = {The first third of the 20th century marked a period of cultural and scientific modernization in Spain, historiographically known as the “Spanish Silver Age.” Within this context, modern scientific institutions, such as the Board for Advanced Studies and Scientific Research (JAE) and its Centre for Historical Studies (CEH), became key platforms for the development of a new type of woman: the so-called “modern woman.” This undergraduate thesis examines the role of these women who, after gaining access to higher education and the labor market, entered the scientific and academic spaces of the JAE.
