En este conversatorio, diferentes especialistas examinan algunos de los principales retos y amenazas queenfrenta en la actualidad, a saber, el papel del Consejo de Seguridad respecto a la prohibición, la crisisactual de las operaciones de mantenimiento de la paz, su relación con la responsabilidad de proteger,su aplicación en el ciberespacio y en el espacio ultraterrestre, los usos de la fuerza contra misionesdiplomáticas y consulares, las implicaciones de la doctrina unwilling or unable y, finalmente, el riesgoque supone la pasividad de los Estados frente a su violación.},
abstract = {The prohibition of the threat or use of force is one of the fundamental principles ofinternational law, to the extent that it has been considered the cornerstone of the entire legal order,given its essential role in the functioning of the international system as a whole. In this forum,different specialists examine the main challenges and threats it currently faces, namely: the role of theSecurity Council with regard to the aforementioned prohibition; the current crisis of peacekeeping operations; its relationship with the responsibility to protect others; its application in cyberspace andouter space; the use of force against diplomatic and consular missions; the implications of theunwilling or unable doctrine; and, finally, the risk of State passivity in relation to its violation.},
