abstract = {A differentiable manifold is said to be homogeneous if for any pair of points in the manifold there exists a diffeomorphism that maps one into the other. In this work we will see that such an intuitive definition of homogeneity leads to a rich and profound mathematical structure. In particular, we will see that every homogeneous manifold is a quotient of Lie groups, and that this allows us to view them as the base of a principal bundle.},
