abstract = {En este trabajo se estudiarán las definiciones de transporte y logística para tener una
idea más clara de los conceptos que se van a tratar a lo largo del mismo y poder ver la
diferencia que hay entre ambos términos.
También se conocerán los tipos de transporte que hay desde su aparición hasta la
actualidad, analizando la evolución que ha tenido el sector desde los inicios con el
transporta animal, hasta el día de hoy. Se verá como hizo posible el tránsito de personas
de un sitio a otro y como beneficio en la eficacia de las empresas, acortando plazos de
entrega y costes.
Se analizará el termino de logística y los distintos tipos que existen, también se verán los
beneficios que conlleva tener un buen control de esta en la empresa y como afecta en la
capacidad de reacción sobre los posibles imprevistos.
Para llevarlo a un punto de vista más práctico, se estudiará el caso en concreto de la
empresa Chiwawap, una empresa dedicada a la distribución de productos al por mayor
ubicada en Camargo. Especializada en productos de higiene, limpieza, amenities y
desechables, para el sector de la restauración, hotelero, y fabricas entre otros muchos
sectores.
Se analizarán sus procesos a la hora de realizar las tareas logísticas y de transporte
llevadas a cabo por sus trabajadores en el propio almacén y en su posterior reparto, para
encontrar las debilidades logísticas existentes, a la hora de almacenar la mercancía
recibida, en la preparación de pedidos y en la entrega del pedido al cliente final.
También se buscarán posibles métodos de implantación de nuevas tecnologías que
mejor se adapten y sean capaces de solucionar dichos problemas al negocio para
realizar sus tareas de una forma más eficaz.
Algunas de las posibles soluciones será la implantación de un método picking con PDA
para solucionar los problemas en el almacenaje y preparación, la instalación de
estanterías móviles para solventar el problema de espacio y la utilización de elaboradores
de ruta para optimizar tiempo y costes de desplazamientos.},
abstract = {In this work, the definitions of transportation and logistics will be studied to have a clearer
idea of the concepts that will be addressed throughout it and to be able to see the
difference between both terms.
The types of transportation from their inception to the present day will also be explored,
analyzing the evolution that the sector has undergone from the early days of animal
transport to the present. It will be seen how it made possible the transit of people from
one place to another and how it benefited the efficiency of companies, reducing delivery
times and costs.
The term logistics will be analyzed along with the different types that exist, as well as the
benefits of having good control of it in the company and how it affects the ability to react
to possible unforeseen events.
To bring it to a more practical point of view, the specific case of the company Chiwawap
will be studied, a company dedicated to the distribution of wholesale products located in
Camargo. Specialized in hygiene, cleaning, amenities, and disposable products for the
restaurant, hotel, and factory sectors, among many others.
Their processes in carrying out logistics and transportation tasks performed by their
workers in the warehouse and in subsequent distribution will be analyzed to identify
existing logistical weaknesses in storing received goods, preparing orders, and
delivering orders to the final customer.
Possible methods of implementing new technologies that best fit and are capable of
solving these business problems to carry out tasks more effectively will also be sought.
Some possible solutions include implementing a picking method with PDA to address
storage and preparation issues, installing mobile shelves to solve space problems, and
using route planners to optimize travel time and costs.},
