abstract = {Los arquetipos femeninos, conformados durante los inicios del cristianismo, suponen un ámbito de estudio de gran interés para tratar estudios de mujeres y de género en la Antigüedad. Durante las próximas páginas se va a analizar el papel que tuvieron las mujeres en los inicios del cristianismo para conseguir, de esta manera, una visión general que permita entender la creación de dichas tipologías. Este trabajo se centra en un modelo concreto, el de la mulier maritata, de la cual Mónica, la madre de Agustín de Hipona, es un gran ejemplo. Además, su experiencia nos permitirá abordar la situación legal de la mujer en Roma y, especialmente, el fenómeno de la violencia de género en los primeros siglos del cristianismo},
abstract = {Feminine archetypes, formed during the beginnings of Christianity, represent a field of study of great interest to discuss women and gender studies in Antiquity. During the next pages, the role that women had in the beginnings of Christianity will be analyzed to obtain, in this way, a general vision that allows us to understand the creation of these typologies. This work focuses on a specific model, that of the mulier maritata, of which Monica, the mother of Augustine of Hippo, is a great example.
